Sometimes, when I’m alone, I see a strange flower in my head. That flower floats in the vast air. The flower can bloom bright red, sometimes it looks like a pure blue lotus. I wonder if it’s parts of my soul dreaming of a peaceful or warm place. I call it the flower of impermanence.
- I create an abstract flower with fine brush strokes and thin ink strokes. This will help me get really lithe, soft, clear flowers.
- I combine the ambiguity and the flight of smoke to create a deep, abstract and illusory background like a fairyland.
- Use the smooth and soft silk to pull the ink streaks running from the center to the surroundings to increase the illusion and mystery of the picture.
